WC 2026 Tippspiel - Help

The rules are simple: every registered user can predict match results and answer bonus questions. You earn points for every correct prediction and bonus answer. The player with the most points wins and becomes the proud owner of the prestigious trophy.

Predicting matches

Predictions can be submitted until the kick-off of each match.
Predictions can be changed at any time as long as the match has not yet started.
Other players' predictions are only visible after kick-off.

Points per prediction
A maximum of 8 points per match! The officially determined final result applies, including extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

  0 points: everything wrong

• 
  3 points for predicting the correct outcome (win, draw, or loss)
  (correct tendency, but wrong goal difference or goal count for one or both teams)

  4 points:
  (correct tendency and correct goal difference)
  

• 
  5 points: correct tendency and correct goal count for one team

• 
  8 points: correct tendency and correct goal count for both teams (which also means correct goal difference)

Examples

If France beats Switzerland 3:0 and you predicted 3:1, you get 5 points:
3 points for the correct tendency and 2 points for France's correct goal count.

If Germany beats Italy 1:0 and you predicted 2:1, you get 4 points in total:
3 points for the correct tendency and 1 point for the correct goal difference.

Bonus questions

The 4 bonus questions can be filled in until the start of the Round of 16. Each correct answer earns 8 bonus points.

1. Which team will win the tournament?
2. Which team will finish second?
3. When will the first goal be scored in the final?
4. How many goals does the top scorer score?

In the event of a tie on points, the number of 8-point predictions decides the ranking. If still tied, 5-point predictions decide, then 4-point predictions, and so on.
